Ahead of the first semi-final at this year's Club World Cup, Ladbrokes shares its top betting tips for Fluminense vs Chelsea, with the Blues backed to progress.
After beating Brazilian opponents in the quarter-final, Chelsea will be confident of repeating the feat and reaching Sunday's final against either PSG or Real Madrid, with the winner pocketing a healthy bonus before the 2025/26 season.
Below are Ladbrokes' top betting tips for Fluminense vs Chelsea on July 8.
Ladbrokes' top betting tips for Fluminense vs Chelsea
Pedro Neto to score anytime
After only scoring four times in the Premier League last season, Pedro Neto has found his shooting boots this summer, with the winger leading Chelsea's goalscoring charts with three Club World Cup goals - and we're backing him to notch again on Tuesday.
Fluminense have a strong defence, only conceding once in their last three games, but with Chelsea scoring nine times in their previous three, the Brazilian side certainly have their work cut out stopping the Blues - especially the lively Neto.
The 25-year-old has started all but one of Chelsea's matches this summer, and has found himself at the heart of a lot of excellent forward play, with the style of play suiting the electric winger down to a tee.
Rene to be shown a card
Only two sides have picked up more yellow cards than Chelsea at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup -and one of them is Fluminense. The Brazilians have collected 13 bookings across their five games, and full back Rene is among the most consistent offenders.
The Brazilian has already served a suspension at the CWC, missing their quarter-final victory over Al Hilal after consecutive yellows against Mamelodi Sundowns and Inter Milan, so he's no stranger to the referee's book.
With the likes of Neto, Cole Palmer, Liam Delap and a host of others occupying the forward areas for Chelsea, the 32-year-old will have to be at his best, and just one lapse of concentration or a mistimed tackle could be enough to see the referee take his name.
Both teams to score
Chelsea promise goals wherever they go, averaging almost two goals per game in the Premier League last season, and with 12 goals in their five Club World Cup games, that trend has more than continued in the States.
They've also only kept a couple of clean sheets in this summer's tournament, so Fluminense will certainly get their chances to score - and as we've seen against strong teams like Inter and Al Hilal already, they have the quality to take them.
Suspensions will weaken Fluminense's defence ahead of this one too, so the clean sheets from previous matches will be much tougher to earn in this semi-final showdown, so we're backing both teams to score.
Chelsea to win
Rounding off our Club World Cup semi-final betting tips, we're backing Chelsea to qualify and progress to the final on Sunday 13, where they'll face either PSG or Real Madrid.
Fluminense are certainly underdogs heading into the final four, with Chelsea's experience and quality giving them the upper hand in the US - and with the confidence of recently securing Champions League football again, they're looking a hard team to stop right now.
Ladbrokes is expecting the Blues to continue their winning run on Tuesday night, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see them lifting the trophy after the final on Sunday too.
