Cheltenham Festival: Bookies hoping for result in Supreme as Ballyburn opts for Day Two

- BALLYBURN is now the 8/13 clear favourite for the Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle, after Willie Mullins confirmed he would run there rather than the Supreme.
- As a result, MYSTICAL POWER is the new 3/1 favourite for the opening race of the festival, with Firefox and Tullyhill next best at 7/2 and 4/1 respectively.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “The news has come as a surprise to many punters who were convinced Ballyburn would go for the Supreme. The opener really sets the tone of the week and with a much more open feel to it now, this gives us the chance to start the week on the right foot.”
