Tyson Fury 2/7 to beat Deontay Wilder in rematch

| 27.02.2020

Are you ready for round three? Because Tyson Fury v Deontay Wilder looks set to become a trilogy in 2020.

The Gypsy King remains the clear favourite to retain his heavyweight title belt against the Bronze Bomber.

The third fight between the pair is all-but set to go ahead, and the bookies have Fury priced at 2/7 for another victory following his seven-round assault in Las Vegas last weekend.

Any potential third bout has Wilder priced at 11/4 to reclaim his title belt. The pair famously drew in the first meeting in 2018 and another draw in 2020 is 25/1.

It’s a stark contrast from the first clash between Wilder and Fury back in December 2018. We priced the Gypsy King at 5/4 in the first fight, and at even-money last time out.

Meanwhile, Wilder was priced at 8/13 in 2018 with a draw on the two previous bouts at 20/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Fury’s dominated Wilder in both fights now but with the Bronze Bomber about to accept his rematch clause, the odds suggest he’s not going to get anywhere near close enough to beating the Gypsy King.”
