Bundesliga Betting Tips: Werner and RB Leipzig plus Leverkusen v Bayern Munich

| 05.06.2020

It looks like the Bundesliga trophy is staying at the Allianz Arena. But Bayern Munich have got two tricky ties coming up, starting with an away trip to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

There’s also Freiburg up against Borussia Monchengladbach tonight and Borussia Dortmund v Hertha Berlin, plus can RB Leipzig win again amid Timo Werner’s alleged transfer to Chelsea?

We look at it all in our Matchday 30 preview…

Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munich (Sat, 14:30)

After navigating Der Klassiker, Bayern must now travel to Leverkusen in their sprint to the title. But Bayer did beat the Bavarians earlier in the season and it’s 5/1 for lightning to strike twice.

Kai Havertz is in the form of his life right now and is excelling in his false nine role under Peter Bosz. He’s 15/8 to score anytime and 5/1 to notch in a home win.

But Bayern’s big red machine haven’t lost in 17 games in all competitions and are a short 1/2 for victory.

Both teams to score looks likely at 2/5, while Robert Lewandowski’s 4/9 to add to his 29 Bundesliga goals. The draw is 15/4.

Borussia Dortmund v Hertha Berlin (Sat, 17:30)

Mats Hummels, Dortmund

This would have looked like a home banker before the pause in play, but Hertha have been flying since the restart and it would shock few if they won at 13/2.

Buoyed by new manager Bruno Labbadia, you can find the Berlin side at 5/2 to strike first.

It’s touch and go whether Dortmund striker Erling Haaland will be fit in time. That’ll mean Jadon Sancho, fresh from a first professional hat-trick, could be a shout at 4/5 anytime to score.

The home side are 4/11 for three points, while a Dortmund win with Over 2.5 Goals in the game is 8/11.

Expect swash-buckling, counter-attacking football from both sides. This one could really go either way, with the draw at 4/1.

Best of the rest

RB Leipzig are 2/15 to see off Paderborn with Werner, who looks set to leave for Chelsea in the summer, at 7/4 to score 2 or more goals.

Mainz are desperate for a win to stave off relegation but are 23/10 to beat a resurgent Eintracht Frankfurt (21/10).

Plus, Schalke will hope this is the weekend they stop their dramatic slide down the table with a win at 2/1 over Union Berlin.
