Now the 2024/25 season has started, Ladbrokes takes you through Barcelona's Champions League squad, their chances of winning the competition and what their starting 11 has been.

FC Barcelona, with Hansi Flick at the helm, are trying to get back to the bottom of world football, having not won the Champions League since the days of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar in 2015.

Barcelona are a bit of a mess at the moment with regards to their finances, and their side isn't as good as it was around a decade ago, but the Spanish giants still have a top team with some world class players, so whose to say they can't win Europe's top club competition?

With all that said, Ladbrokes takes you through Barcelona's squad for the current Champions League campaign, what their starting XI has looked like, and their odds winning the competition.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen would have been in goal for Barcelona in the UCL if he wasn't out with a serious knee injury, so it's Inaki Pena who gets the nod for this season.

As for the back four, Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo and Pau Curbarsi start when fit, with Alejandro Balde pushing on from left-back.

The middle of the park sees Pedri and Gavi playing, with Frenkie de Jong playing alongside them.

Dani Olmo is able to play in midfield or out wide, but the front three usually consists of Raphinha, Lamina Yamal and bagsman Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona's Champions League odds

PSG are the favourites to win this season's Champions League, but Barcelona aren't actually that far off according to the bookies.

The bookies have given Barcelona just shy of 22% chance of winning the UCL come May 2025, with Flick's side the joint-second favourites to win the competition.

However, Barca are now priced with the same odds than arch rivals Real Madrid, with the bookies not too impressed with how Los Blancos have started the season.
