Vincent Kompany, after getting relegated with Burnley last season, was appointed as Bayern Munich's manager this summer, and he's set to learn the German giants into the Champions League this season.
The former Man City defender will be hoping to bring Europe's top club prize back to Germany for the first time since 2020, when Bayern beat PSG in the final in win their sixth Champions League.
With all that said, Ladbrokes takes you through Bayern Munich's squad for the forthcoming Champions League campaign, what we expect their starting line-up to look like, and their odds winning the competition.
Bayern Munich's 2024/25 Champions League squad
Below is the squad that, barring any surprising omissions or injuries, Bayern Munich will be taking into the 2024/25 Champions Legaue campaign.
The squad features some new names from last year, including Michael Olise, who completed a big-money move from Crystal Palace to Germany over the summer.

Bayern Munich's 2024/25 Champions League starting 11
In his first few games as Bayern Munich manager, Kompany has used a four at the back system, with Manuel Neuer remaining as the club's captain and starting goalkeeper.
Joshua Kimmich is expected to play at right-back, rather than in the middle of the park, as he did for Germany at Euro 2024 this summer.
The other full-back spot is expected to be filled by either Alphonso Davies or Raphael Guerreiro, depending on what that specific game requires.
As failing to bring Jonathan Tah to the club in the summer, Dayot Upamecano and either Eric Dier or Kim Min-jae are expected to complete the defence for Bayern in the Champions League this season.
Aleksandar Pavlovic is expected to play in the middle of the park with Joao Palhinha, completing a rather solid midfield duo, with the attacking prowess of three of Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, new signing Olise, Mathys Tel, Thomas Muller and Kingsley Coman ahead of them.
Completing the side is former Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who is coming off the back of a fantastic debut season with Bayern where, despite failing to win his first professional trophy, he showed that he remains one of the world's best number nines.
Bayern Munich's Champions League odds
Bayern are one of the six favourites to win the Champions League come May 2025, priced ahead of the likes of Atletico Madrid and PSG and with shorter odds than both Liverpool and Arsenal.
The bookies have given Bayern Munich just shy of an 10% chance of winning the Champions League next year, five years after last winning the competition.
The feeling seems to be that if Kompany can implement his ideas quickly, then Bayern could be a real handful in the Champions League this year.
Bayern Munich's Champions League fixtures
The new Champions League format sees teams play eight games in the 'league phase', with Bayern kicking off their campaign at home against Dinamo Zagreb on September 17.
The game ended as an 11-goal thriller, with Bayern beating the Croatian side 9-2 in what has gone down as one of the biggest wins in the competition's history.
Next up, Kompany returned to England to play Aston Villa at Villa Park on October 2, which ended in 1-0 loss, before another tough away fixture on October 23, this time against Hansi Flick's Barcelona, ended in a 4-1 loss.
Bayern's fourth game of the 2024/25 Champions League saw them beat Benfica 1-0 at home on November 6, before a potentially difficult home game against PSG on November 26.
A trip to Shaktar Donetsk awaits them the following month on December 10 before Kompany and co conclude the 'league phase' of this season's Champions League in 2025 with games against Feyenoord on January 22 and Slovan Bratislava on January 29.
