Celtic's Champions League fixtures
Celtic kicked off their 2024/25 UCL campaign with an impressive 5-1 win against Slovan Bratislava, the Scottish side likely viewed the fixture as a good opportunity to pick up three points, and that's exactly what they did.
It was an away trip to Dortmund next on October 1, but that didn't end well, as Rodgers ended up losing 7-1 to one of his former players, Nuri Sahin. That match cane before Europa League winners Atalanta drew 0-0 with Celtic in Italy on October 23.

Matchday four saw Celtic host German side RB Leipzig, with that game taking place on November 5 and ending in a surprising 3-1 win. After the international break, Celtic were back at home with another Champions League tie on November 27, this time drawing 1-1 against Club Brugge from Belgium.
It was another draw next for Celtic, as they were held to a 0-0 tie away at Dinamo Zagreb away. That came before they beat Young Boys 1-0 in Scotland on January 22. Their final UCL game of the league phase saw them lose 3-2 to Aston Villa away from home on January 29.
Despite coming close to causing an upset, Celtic were knocked out of the competition at the playoff round stage at the hands of Bayern Munich, leaving the Scots with crushed dreams.
