Champions League Final Odds: El Classico is on the cards
Published:
Fans are hoping and praying that Real Madrid and Barcelona reach the Champions League final this year, and the latest odds from Ladbrokes suggest it may happen.
The Spanish giants were drawn on opposite sides of the bracket for the 24/25 Champions League knockout round, and as two of the most in-form sides in Europe, an El Classico very much seems like a viable final.
Real Madrid aren't even the favourites to win the competition though, with both Liverpool and Barcelona ahead of them in the latest Champions League outright odds.
Champions League 2024/25 final odds
As noted, an El Classico clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid is possible in this Champions League final, and Ladbrokes has the assumed probably of it happening at around 15% according to the latest odds at the half-way stage of the Round of 16.
The two huge Spanish sides have met in the Champions League before, most recently at the semi-final stage in 2011, but never before have Real and Barcelona shared the stage for a final against eachother.
As noted though, Real Madrid aren't even one of the top two favourites to win the Champions League this season, with both Barcelona and Arne Slot's Liverpool ahead of them in the betting odds.
In fact, Liverpool have already beaten Real Madrid in the 'league phase' of this season's Champions League, and if both sides get through their respective Round of 16 and quarter-final ties, a meeting in the semi-final will await them.
Onto the other side of the bracket, Barcelona's fiercest competition is Inter Milan, with the Italian giants having missed out on winning the competition when they lost in the 2023 final to Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola's side completing a treble in the process.
