Now the 2024/25 season has started, Ladbrokes takes you through PSG's Champions League squad, their chances of winning the competition and what we expect their starting 11 to be.

Despite all the top signings that PSG have made since their takeover over a decade ago, the French club have yet to win the Champions League, only reaching the final in 2020.

It was the semi-final that PSG got to last year, and that was with Kylian Mbappe in their ranks, with the Frenchman now plying his trade for Real Madrid in Spain.

With all that said, Ladbrokes takes you through PSG's squad for the forthcoming Champions League campaign, what we expect their starting line-up to look like, and their odds winning the competition.

Below is the squad that PSG will be taking into this season's Champions League campaign, with Mbappe obviously no longer able to be called upon by Luis Enrique and his coaching staff.

  • Achraf Hakimi, Presnel Kimpembe, Marquinhos (c), Lucas Hernandez, Nuno Mendes, Lucas Beraldo, Milan Skriniar, Yoram Zague, Willian Pacho

PSG's 2024/25 Champions League starting 11

Despite only being 25, Gianluigi Donnarumma has so much experience playing in European competitions, so expect him to start as PSG's goalkeeper for the season.

Achraf Hakimi should play at right-back, with Nuno Mendes on the opposite flank. The centre-backs will likely be Marquinhos and either Willian Pacho, Presnel Kimpembe when he's back from injury, or even Milan Skriniar.

In Vitinha, Warren Zaire-Emery and new signing Joao Neves, PSG have one of the most exciting midfield trios in all of world football, so expect them to play with Fabian Ruiz able to come in as and when needed.

The front-three is harder to predict, but we think Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele will play on the wings, with one of Marco Asensio, Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos starting as the striker, depending on who is best suited to the specific game.

PSG's Champions League odds

PSG aren't the favourites to win the Champions League come May 2025, with the bookies pricing Man City and Real Madrid as the front-runners in the latest odds.

The bookies have PSG with a less than 3% chance of lifting the prestigious trophy next year, with similar odds to the likes of Sporting Lisbon and Atletico Madrid.

PSG's Champions League fixtures

PSG kicked off their 2024/25 Champions League campaign in France with a 1-0 win over Girona, but their second game is a lot tricker.

On October 1, PSG traveled to London to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in what had all the makings of a top European contest, but ended in an easy 2-0 win for the Gunners. After that, on October 22, PSG were back in France playing against PSV, with that game ending in a 1-1 draw.

Atletico Madrid then had to travelled to PSG in match day four on November 6, with the Spanish side winning 2-1. That came before another difficult game for PSG, this time against Bayern Munich away from home, on November 26.

It's a trip to Austria to face RB Salzburg that wraps up PSG's 2024 Champions League games, before the competition continues in 2025 with fixtures against Man City at home on January 22 and Stuttgart away on January 29.
