In one of the closest relegation battles in years, Plymouth Argyle's goal difference looks likely to condemn them to League One, but just two points separate Hull City in 22nd and Stoke City in 18th.

Cardiff's relegation has already been confirmed, with interim boss Aaron Ramsey set to meet former teammate Jack Wilshere in a fascinating managerial clash, who now leads Norwich City.

Championship relegation odds

Hull City will start the day in the bottom three, and the Tigers are seen as the likeliest to join Cardiff and Plymouth in League One, at odds of 6/5.

Luton Town's good form has dragged them into 21st, but the job's not finished and their odds to go down are 9/4.

Meanwhile, Preston North End have hit a rocky patch at the wrong time and have had a worrying slide down the table. They are now 5/2 to get relegated.

Derby County and Stoke City, who play each other on the final day, are seen as relatively safe compared to the others, but both could be relegated if results go against them.

Let's look at the different permutations for each game that could impact the Championship relegation odds.

Bristol City vs Preston

Two mainstays of the Championship could both be in different divisions next season.

Bristol City have had a superb season, sitting in 5th with a game left, and barring disaster look set for a first playoff appearance since 2008.

Meanwhile, after years of midtable comfort the nerves are growing at Deepdale, as Preston are winless in seven games. That run has included damaging defeats to Derby, Hull and Plymouth.

Preston are now just one point above the drop zone heading into the final day after losing the last four. A win would guarantee survival, but they travel to Ashton Gate where the home side have won six of their last seven games.

Derby vs Stoke

The definition of a relegation six-pointer, with both sides knowing three points will secure another season in the Championship.

Derby's vital win away to Hull took them out of the drop zone at the latter's expense, while Stoke appeared safe a few weeks ago but have been sucked in due to the results of teams around them.

The Potters are still in a strong position, as they cannot go down unless Hull win. County's goal difference relative to the other teams has also left John Eustace's side in good stead. But crazier things have happened before, especially in the Championship.

Plymouth vs Leeds

Argyle may be a long shot to stay up, but they can still have a big say in the title race on the final day when they host Leeds.

Plymouth's strong run of form appears to have been too little, too late. They have won four of their last six games, but need a double-digit swing in goal difference despite being three points behind Luton.

As they are against table-topping Leeds, that is even more unlikely and manager Miron Muslic has already come to terms with relegation.

There will still be plenty of attention on Home Park though, with Leeds aiming to lift the Championship title. Burnley will be keeping a close eye to see if United slip up.

Portsmouth vs Hull City

This might have been an even bigger game, but Pompey have managed to pull themselves out of trouble into 16th. Their strong home form has been crucial; their last sixteen games at Fratton Park have seen eleven wins and just two losses.

As mentioned, Hull have it all to do and start the day in the bottom three. The lack of goals has been the main issue for City, with their 43 goals scored the 2nd-lowest in the division.

Speaking to Ladbrokes, former Hull striker Shane Long said: "I really hope Hull stay up, because they're a club I've got fond memories of, so I'll definitely be shouting for them this weekend."

The good news for Shane is that Ladbrokes has Hull as favourites for this game - perhaps as Portsmouth have much less to play for. A win guarantees the Tigers' survival, as they would finish above either Derby or Stoke at the very least.

West Brom vs Luton Town

Luton have won three games on the spin at the most crucial time. Their dramatic last-gasp winner against playoff hopefuls Coventry City has left them one place and one point above the relegation spots, after occupying them since January.

West Brom have had a disappointing second half of the season and have fallen away from the top-six race, now sitting in 11th.

The Hatters will be confident visiting the Hawthorns, having gone unbeaten in their last four away games. That includes vital wins away to Cardiff, Hull and Derby, as well as a point at Stoke.

Luton have risen to the occasion as the stakes have got higher. Can they do so one final time to avoid back-to-back relegations?

It's set to be a nail-biting final day of the Championship season, and Ladbrokes has you covered across all of the action, including the relegation dogfight, playoff scrap and title race.
