Cheltenham Festival 2025: Top five horses who could cost the bookies the most

Cheltenham Festival 2025 on Tuesday, March 11 and Ladbrokes have revealed the five horses who could cost them the most money across the four day event.

The biggest individual threat to the bookies at Cheltenham is running in the Festival’s first race, with Willie Mullins’ Salvator Mundi having received a massive amount of punter support at 11/1 to win the Supreme Novices’.

Odds-on Champion Hurdle favourite Constitution Hill (8/13) is next on the list, preceding 6/1 Fred Winter shot Beyond Your Dreams. The top five is rounded out by Willitgoahead (4/1 for the Hunters’ Chase) and East India Dock (2/1 joint-favourite for the Triumph).

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “Constitution Hill is the only one of the famed Day 1 favourites four-fold who features in this list, with Salvator Mundi’s antepost popularity this autumn putting him in pole position to cost us the most this Festival. Individually, anyway…”
