Vaniller is now the third-favourite with Ladbrokes for the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham Festival 2025.

The 10-year-old’s impressive win in the Ladbrokes Cross Country Chase at Punchestown saw his Festival odds slashed from 25/1 to 8/1.

Stumptown is the 3/1 favourite, while Galvin is just ahead of Vanillier in the betting at 7/1.

The grey’s Punchestown triumph – his first since 2021 – also saw his Grand National odds come in to 33/1 from 50/1.

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “Vanillier’s impressive victory as favourite for the Ladbrokes Cross Country Chase has raised expectations for Cheltenham. And given he’s previously finished as runner-up in the National, we know he’s got a big run in him."
