Cheltenham Festival 2025: Ryanair Chase favourite drifts as rival's odds are cut

Protektorat has closed the gap on the frontrunners in this year's Ryanair Chase betting, according to the latest Cheltenham Festival 2025 odds Ladbrokes.

Fact To File continues to lead the way when it comes to betting for the Ryanair Chase, although his odds have taken a hit (from 6/4 to 7/4), with the form of his win at last year’s Festival being reassessed in some quarters ahead of next week.

Meanwhile, last year’s winner has come in slightly to 5/1 from 6/1. Il Est Francais, whose most recent run was a runner-up effort in the Ladbrokes King George VI Chase, is the 3/1 second-favourite.

 Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “With questions being asked of the favourite and six big-name runners priced at 5/1 or shorter, the Ryanair Chase is going to be appointment viewing.”
