Ladbrokes shares its Crystal Palace v Chelsea betting tips and predictions for tonight’s game in the Premier League.

On Monday Night Football, 11th placed Chelsea travel to Crystal Palace, who sit in 15th place. The Blues are hoping to do the double over their Premier League opposition after a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge on December 27 thanks to a late penalty from Noni Madueke.

Chelsea will be hoping that a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa in the FA Cup last week was the beginning of a charge in fortunes for them, and will be hoping to pick up another win, this time against Roy Hodgson’s struggling side.

Crystal Palace v Chelsea betting tips

Nicolas Jackson to score & Chelsea to win to nil – 11/2

Nicolas Jackson scored an offside goal during Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Palace in December, and we’re going for him to do one better and score a legitimate one this time around at Selhurst Park.

Jackson starred in a left-wing role during Chelsea’s aforementioned win over Aston Villa, rotating nicely with Cole Palmer who played as a striker during the game. The former Villareal man has struggled as a number nine for the Blues this season, so this tactical change may really benefit him and see him add to his tally of seven for the season.

As for the second portion of our bet, we’re going for Chelsea to win the game without conceding. Mauricio Pochettino’s side aren’t in the best form right now, but Palace have arguably been performing worse over the last few months, and have only won one of their last five games, leading to calls for Hodgson to be sacked as manager.

Without their two star players, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, Palace will have significantly less attacking threat, so don’t be surprised to see them lose tonight without finding the back of the net.

Enzo Fernandez to make 1+ assist & Jefferson Lerma to be carded – 13/1

For our next bet, we’re going for Enzo Fernandez to pop up with an assist against Crystal Palace, and for Jefferson Lerma to be carded during the game.

Enzo starred in a deeper role for Chelsea against Villa, and fared much better alongside Moises Caicedo. The 2022 World Cup winner had been playing almost as a number 10 for Chelsea this season, which upset a portion of Chelsea fans, who thought Pochettino would be better served playing the former Benfica midfielder in a deeper role.

Enzo is a world-class passer of the ball, and a great creator from deep, so much so that for the first part of our second bet, we’re pegging the Chelsea midfielder to pop up with an assist.

But that’s not all, as for the next part of the bet, we’re going with Jefferson Lerma to be carded. Chelsea, despite playing away from home, are expected to dominate the ball at Selhurst Park, so Palace’s midfielders are in for a rather long evening.

Lerma has played 18 times for Palace since joining from Bournemouth and has been carded four times. He’s known for a tough tackle, so the Colombian to end up with a yellow card could be worth a punt.

Crystal Palace & Chelsea to draw, and both teams to score – 19/5

In this article, we’ve covered how Palace are majorly out of form and Chelsea appeared to have turned a corner against Villa last week, but as ever with football, we have to expect the unexpected.

Chelsea might have looked much better against Villa, but they lost 4-2 to Wolves in their last Premier League outing and find themselves in the bottom half of the table. Their new players don’t appear to have properly gelled just yet, so there’s no guarantee that they walk away from Selhurst Park with all three points.

Chelsea have conceded eight goals in their last two Premier League games too, so there’s no guarantee that they don’t concede either, despite Palace’s poor form.

So, to cover our bases, we’re going with a bet of Palace and Chelsea to end up both scoring in a draw with odds of 19/5.

For those interested in a single bet, Chelsea are priced at 8/11 to beat Palace tonight, while Hodgson’s men are 15/4 to beat the Blues at home. A draw can be backed at 27/10, with Ladbrokes, for those interested.
