Dan Skelton previews his Boxing Day runners

In his exclusive blog, Ladbrokes ambassador and trainer Dan Skelton discusses the chances of his Boxing Day runners at Aintree, Fontwell, Market Rasen and Wetherby.
I think she has a nice mark to begin handicaps with. She won on her debut for us at Wetherby, and was a good second the last day. This trip and track is good for her and I think she is a big player.
He ran nicely the other day over three miles and probably didn’t quite get the trip that day. He’s only got 10’5 in this which is a pretty good weight for him. The trip and track are no issue and he won a nice race for us last year over fences and hopefully he can do the same this year. His jumping isn’t the best over fences, so it’s looking like it will be hurdles for him.
He ran nicely coming second last time out. He has a win under his belt this year so he has shown a liking for fences and he should be competitive.
This is a brother to Kaitera and he has shown nicely at home. Typically I wouldn’t be expecting fireworks from one of our bumper horses.
She hasn’t shown anything over hurdles yet, but this doesn’t look the greatest race in the world either.
She was a little underwhelming the last day. We thought she would run a bit better than she did over hurdles, having run nicely in a bumper in the spring. I am not suggesting she is one of our leading chances on Boxing Day but that bumper form suggests she might be able to win a race back on decent ground when it turns up.
I think he has a good chance in this. He won a bumper here so the track is no problem. The trip could be on the short side but I am not too worried about that.
He had one run for us in a handicap finishing fifth, running ok. This isn’t a dissimilar race and I think he would have a little chance. I am not jumping up and down thinking he must win but This step up in trip is a positive for him.
She was very disappointing the last day. I thought she would show a lot more than she did at Taunton. She unfortunately doesn’t look like she is setting the world alight at the moment.
He wants drying conditions and as long as he gets that, I think he can run better than he has done to date.
This is calmer waters here. He won at the track last year and I think based on his form in some tidy hurdles this season he should go well.
He has run well around the track before and has won over hurdles here. He definitely has an each-way chance. I think Harry [Skelton] gave him a very good ride to win the last day so I am not thinking that the only thing he can do here is win. I think Harry perhaps was the difference between winning and losing last time and the handicapper has put him up for that. It might not be easy for him.
