12.42 - Disco Davis

We've got Disco Davis in a two-mile Maiden Hurdle and he ran nicely last time at Exeter. I think the more galloping tracks and slower ground suit him, and this should fall into that category. I'd definitely give him a chance here - I don't necessarily think he should be favourite, but he's obviously got a chance after running really well last time.

1.15 - Cherie d'Am

Cherie d'Am then runs in the rearranged Towton - and two-and-a-half on soft ground is basically what she won over in her last race at Warwick. That was against the girls, though, and this is against the boys. She gets a bit of weight from them, though. She's in good form and the track will really suit her I think. Soft ground is obviously no issue for her and she's been good at home; I'm looking forward to getting her out there. Obviously, this is a step up for her in grade again, but she's in good form and I'd have to say she'd be one of the players in the race.

1.50 - Juventus De Brion

We then run Juventus De Brion in a two-and-a-half mile Maiden - we've been a little protective of him so far it has to be said. But he's a big rangy horse who has just needed a bit of time and It feels like he's only just come into himself. He carries a leading mark going into this, and he'd have to be a player - you'd have to think he's definitely got a chance.

2.25 - West To The Bridge

We've then got West To The Bridge in a three-mile Handicap Hurdle. The race is his grade and he carries top weight. I wouldn't say he's fantastically well handicapped these days as an older horse but he's in good form. the track should suit him, and hopefully he's got a place chance.

3.34 - Beat Box & Salamanca Bay

Then we've got Beat Box, who has been amazing; he's won six of seven for us. Two miles on slower ground is exactly what he wants. He keeps taking the step up in grade in his stride, which is quite remarkable really. whilst things are getting harder for him in terms of his handicap mark, he just seems to be coping with it. How high can he go? I really, really don't know. But he's thriving at the minute, he looks great, and the track and trip are no problem at all.

Salamanca Bay runs in the same race as Beat Box, and two miles on this kind of soft ground looks the ideal scenario for him. But I just don't think the handicapper has got him in a position yet where I could say he's well handicapped. Obviously, he's had one run for us over two-and-a-half, and he pulled up turning in at Southwell. I think it's all coming together for him though a she’s settling better. and while I still think the handicapper has got him too high, these are better conditions for him.

4.04 - Giantsgrave

We've got a nice horse in the bumper, called Giantsgrave - he's had a couple of declarations without running due to the ground, but I'd like to think he'll go very well here. I don't think the soft ground on this track is a problem for him at all. He's done enough work at home for me to think he'll go well.
