Honky Tonk Highway kicks things off for us at Windsor on Friday, in a three-mile Novices' Hurdle. Obviously it's a big step up in trip, but I think that it will bring about an improvement in fact. She won a two-mile Listed Novices' hurdle at Sandown last time and she's now had a good gap between races. She's going well at home and I'd say she's got a really good chance here.

Deafening Silence runs in the Novices' Handicap Chase - he ran well the first time out, and not quite so well the second time at Cheltenham. But he had been off for a long time before those runs, and it feels like he could be getting sharper. The ground could be softer for him, I suppose, but three miles is positive. The flat track is good and, like Honky Tonk Highway, I think he's got a good chance.

Panic Attack and Sacre Coeur both run in a Mares' Handicap Chase, Sacre Coeur is just too high in the handicap; the handicapper overreacted to her Plumpton win, and just has her too high here. Panic Attack, though, will see this step up in trip, and step back over fences, as positives. Let's hope she can give a good run here.

Langer Dan runs in the Conditions Hurdle - as everyone can see, he's just very difficult in the winter. It does feel like he's coming together more at home though, so let's hope we see a bit more from him. I am expecting to see more; I'm not expecting him to win, but it'll all come together for him at some point, like it always does. I think people can now sympathise though when I tell them that he is not easy in the winter!

Knickerbockerglory runs in the valuable two-mile hurdle after winning at Sandown last time. The ground could be as soft as you want for this horse, and I do think it'll be soft enough on the day for him. He's gone up in the handicap, and has got to defy that for Sandown, but he's looking good at home, and I feel like another positive run is on the cards.
