Kourosh – 2.10 Chepstow

He is in great form, he looks great, and we have had this race in mind for a long time. I think he will go very well. It is competitive but we won’t have any excuses after a good summer with a wind op under his belt.

Boombawn – 2.45 Chepstow

Boombawn runs in a competitive race but he’s in great form. I don’t know why it didn’t happen for him at Market Rasen. However, I was very happy with him beforehand. He won a pretty good beginners’ chase at the start of May and I think he will go well here.

Take No Chances, Doyen Quest, and Forever William – 3.20 Chepstow

I run three in the Silver Trophy. Harry Atkins takes 7lbs off Take No Chances. I cant think she is the best handicapped at the moment but she has been progressive and consistent and the weight allowance might help.

Harry Skelton rides Doyen Quest who won at the Cheltenham April meeting on his last start before his break. He looks progressive and I think he will go very well here. The track should be ideal.

Forever William is down the bottom of the weights and Heidi Palin rides him, taking 7lbs off as well. He ran nicely at Newton Abbott, and obviously this is a massive step up in class but he’s in good form. It was a very nice run the last day.

Flegmatik – 4pm Chepstow

Tristan Durrell will ride him, but I don’t think he is well handicapped and he isn’t getting any younger. Let’s get his season started and see where we go.

The King Of Ryhope – 4pm Chepstow

He ran well at Aintree on his last run last season and is also a winner at Chepstow. He is in good form and we had this race in mind for a while. There won’t be many excuses to be honest.

Ballygrifincottage – 4.35 Chepstow

Harry Skelton will ride him. He is in great form and we have done loads of work with him. He will be very competitive here. We wanted him ready early season to make the most of some nice ground and his recent form reads better than it has for some time.

Sail Away – 4.35 Chepstow

He loves a bit of decent ground so I will make sure the conditions are ok for him. I am very happy with his preparation and 7lbs off with Harry Atkins riding will only help.

Moneygarrow – 5.10 Chepstow

We run a very nice horse here in the bumper. It is his first time out for us having won an Irish point-to-point but he’s done plenty and is ready to go. Paul Nicholls often runs a nice one in this bumper and will no doubt fancy his in this, but I think ours will be very competitive. I am very happy with his work this season.
