PDC Home Tour Betting Tips: Smith to dominate Group 28?

The PDC Home Tour continues tonight, with former PDC World Championship finalist Michael Smith heading up this evening’s quartet.
Bully Boy is joined by Luke Humphries, Mike van Duivenbode and Andy Boulton. All four have already appeared in the tournament, but failed to top their groups first time around.
Michael Smith v Mike van Duivenbode (19:30)
Smith missed out in Group 9 on April 25th, finishing second on leg difference to Martijn Kleermaker. But Bully Boy threw a 97-average in his three matches that night, versus the Dutchman’s 90.
With that in mind, Smith is favourite to win all of his matches tonight, starting at 1/4 to beat Mike van Duivenbode (13/5).
The Dutchman has already showed what he is capable of in this tournament however, defeating both Simon Whitlock and Kirk Shepherd in Group 11, averaging a handy 93 on the night.
And though Smith should have enough quality to see this out, The Pigeon might fancy his chances of an upset. There’s 4/5 about Van Duivenbode on the +2.5 leg handicap, with 9/2 about Smith finally edging it 5-4.
Michael Smith v Luke Humphries (21:00)
The match of the night comes halfway through, with Smith taking on Cool Hand Luke Humphries.
Our traders make Bully Boy 1/2 for this one, with Humphries in the mix at 3/2. Defeat for either player could spell the end of their run in the tournament.
Smith has won four of the duo’s five meetings, although Humphries finally broke his duck against Smith in the Players Championship back in March.
Cool Hand wasn’t quite at his best in Group 5, and will be eager to show what he’s capable of here. This should be a cracker, with over 7.5 legs at 4/5, and over 4.5 180s at 6/5.
Will this one go all the way? 4/1 says Smith takes it on the final leg to win 5-4, with Humphries 15/2 to win by the same scoreline.
Andy Boulton v Michael Smith (22:00)
There’s a good chance plenty will ride on the final games of the night, and Smith closes by taking on Andy Boulton.
Bully Boy is 2/7 to beat Boulton, who is 12/5 for the win. The X Factor is seemingly up against it tonight, but he’ll fancy his chances after thumping James Wade 5-0 in Group 6, while also throwing a 100-average in a 5-3 win over Adrian Gray on the same night.
There’s Evens about over 7.5 legs in tonight’s final contest, with Smith 7/2 to again be pushed hard in a 5-3 win.
