PDC Home Tour Betting Tips: Wattimena and Cullen clash in Group 20

Published:
Joe Cullen

The PDCHome Tour has a real international flavour tonight with players from England,Scotland, Greece and the Netherlands all taking to the socially distant oche.

Rockstar Joe Cullen is the 11/8 favourite to progress from Group 20, followed by Jermaine Wattimena (13/8), Ryan Murray (5/1) and outsider John Michael (6/1).

We’relooking forward to another exciting evening of action by previewing three more tungstentussles below.

JermaineWattimena v John Michael (20:00)

There are 64places separating these two in the PDC Order of Merit. That chasm is reflectedin the odds, with Wattimena heavily odds-on at 4/11 versus 2/1 forMichael.

It’sdifficult to see last year’s Grand Prix quarter-finalist and World Cupsemi-finalist getting beat, so we’re arrowing in on some of the performancemarkets.

The Dutchman is undoubtedly a class above his Greek opponent, and we go 10/3 for him to secure the King of the Oche crown by winning the match, hitting the most 180s and scoring the highest checkout.

RyanMurray v John Michael (20:30)

The outrightodds mark this one out as the battle of the outsiders in the group. Murray hasbeen installed by our traders as the narrow favourite at 8/11, with Michaelan even-money chance.

In truththese are two players with contrasting strengths to their game. The Scotsman isa better finisher but doesn’t score heavily, while Deadly Rose knows where thetreble bed is but struggles to checkout.

That should make for an interesting, if not altogether exciting encounter. We go 8/11 for there to be Over 7.5 Legs in the match, while there’s 9/4 about Michael to win and hit the most 180s.

JoeCullen v Jermaine Wattimena (21:00)

This shouldn’tjust be the match of the night, it’s also likely to play out as the groupdecider. As a result, there’s little to split the pair, with Cullen 8/11 to prevailin the match betting versus even-money for Wattimena.

Previoushead-to-heads point towards a win for the Dutchman, who has taken the spoils infour of his five meetings with Cullen. But with Rockstar throwing first in thisunusual format, that could swing things.

The Englishman is 8/11 to make the throw count by taking the first leg of the match, while our traders make it a 5/4 chance that these two heavy scorers hit Over 3.5 180s between them.
