Dean Huijsen next club odds: Real Madrid the favourites

Real Madrid are the front-runners in the latest Dean Huijsen next club odds released by Ladbrokes ahead of the summer transfer window.

A report towards the end of April indicated that Huijsen was favouring a move to Chelsea this summer, but the latest odds from Ladbrokes actually have Real Madrid are more likely then than the Blues to secure his signature.

Huijsen only joined Bournemouth from Juventus last summer, but after an impressive debut season in the Premier League, and with a £50m release clause in his contract, a summer move seems rather likely.

As noted, Chelsea are one one of the front-runners to sign Huijsen this summer, priced ahead of Liverpool and Newcastle, with those three clubs viewed as the most likely from the Premier League to sign Huijsen.

However, it seems like the Spaniard could be playing for Real Madrid next summer, as the bookies are tipping Los Blancos to beat Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea to the player's signature come the end of the season.

The race is pretty even though, with fourth-favourites Newcastle's assumed probability of 14% of securing the player being only 4% less than Chelsea's.

Arsenal are also in the top five favourites, but it's hard to see why Mikel Arteta would want to sign another defender, despite Huijsen's quality, when other areas of the Gunners' squad need more improvements.

Tottenham are viewed by the bookies as major outsiders to sign Huijsen this summer, with the club being priced the same as Champions League semi-finalists Barcelona and finalists PSG.

Bayern Munich are seen as more likely destinations for Huijsen than Spurs, PSG and Barcelona, but the odds of any of those moves happening are longer than Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid transfers.

Dean Huijsen may not be the only Bournemouth defender leaving this summer, with Milos Kerkez being tipped by the bookies for a move to Liverpool this summer.

While Huijsen is being tipped for a move within the Premier League, the bookies think Jamie Vardy will move to the MLS after leaving Leicester this summer.
