England v Finland preview, betting tips & predictions

Ladbrokes gives its preview, betting tips and predictions for the England v Finland game taking place on Tuesday, September 10.
After beating the Republic of Ireland 2-0 on Saturday, thanks to goals from Declan Rice and Jack Grealish, England are back in action on September 10 when they take on Finland in the Nations League.
The game gives interim boss Lee Carsley another opportunity to impress the FA, with the ex-Brentford manager hoping to become the full-time coach of the Three Lions.
England v Finland Nations League preview
England lined-up in a 4-3-3 against Ireland, but right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold inverted into midfield, as he does for Liverpool, and was arguably his nation's man of the match.
Expect more of the same from England against Finland, with Levi Colwill, Harry Maguire and Marc Guehi making up the rest of the back four, with John Stones coming in if needed.
The midfield three should see the aforementioned Rice and Grealish play alongside Koibbe Mainoo, with Anthony Gordon, Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane making up the rest of the unchanged starting XI.

Finland lost 3-0 to Greece on Saturday evening in their opening Nations League game, so England will be licking their lips at the prospect of another controlled and comfortable display in the competition.
England v Finland betting tips and predictions
As noted, Finland are coming off a loss in their last game, and England seem to be playing with real confidence under Carsley, so we're predicting a win for the Three Lions.
England to beat Finland 3-0
Finland conceded three goals without reply in their last game, and we expect the scoreline to be the exact same when England host them at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday evening.
England's players spoke about playing with more 'freedom' under their new manager, and that was evidenced by their front-footed attacking dispaly.
We expect England's lethal forwards to have a field day on home turf, shipping three goals past Finland in their final game of the September international break.
Harry Kane to score for England v Finland
Nothing was all that surprising for England against the Republic of Ireland, but one thing that may have caught the attention of fans was the fact that, despite having four shots, Kane failed to score for his country.
Kane thrived under Gareth Southgate, but failed to find the back of the net in Carsley's first game in charge. However, we expect him to score against Finland on Tuesday.
The ex-Tottenham man is one of the best strikers in the world, and he'll hopefully play even better with a forward-thinking manager at the helm.
Anthony Gordon to score & Trent Alexander-Arnold to assist
Trent was vital for England, as mentioned previously, with Southgate's inability to get the best out of the Liverpool vice-captain being arguably the biggest mark on his record.
Another play who could have done more for England at Euro 2024, had it not been for Southgate, is Newcastle's Anthony Gordon, who played once for his country at this summer's tournament despite having a fantastic season in 2023/24 with his club.
Trent and Gordon linked up well against Ireland, and we're expecting more of the same against Finland, as our final bet is for the Liverpool defender to get an assist and the Newcastle winger to pop up with a goal inside 90 minutes.
