2024/25 Europa League favourites and odds

Manchester United are the odds-on favourites according to the latest Europa League odds from Ladbrokes.

Despite an incredibly poor domestic seasons, Premier League clubs Tottenham and Man United are in the final this month, with United now the outright favourite to win the competition in May.

Tottenham have flattered to deceive domestically this season, and with talisman James Maddison ruled out of the final through injury, the feeling is they're the second favourites to win the competition.

The Champions League odds for the 2024/25 season have PSG as favourites, but it's all Ruben Amorim with regards to Europe's secondary cup competition, the Europa League.

Despite being just 90 minutes away from a possible trophy, Ange Postecoglu's position as Spurs manager is under threat, and ex-Premier League striker Shane Long doesn't think that a potential Europa League win is going to change his fortunes.

Shane Long told Ladbrokes: "I like the Spurs manager as well, I just can't see him being there next season, even if they win the Europa League, to be honest. "

For all of Erik ten Hag's faults, the Dutchman was able to win at least one trophy in each of his two seasons at the club, and Ruben Amorim will be hoping to continue that trend in his first season as Manchester United boss.

And ex-United star Lee Sharpe has told Ladbrokes that given the rest of the clubs left in the competition, there's no reason the Red Devils can't go all the way.

Lee Sharpe said: "I don’t see why United can’t win the Europa League this season. There's no reason why they can’t beat anybody in the Europa League. And you’ve got to have a chance if Spurs are the favourites!"

While it'll come as music to the ears of United fans that they're considered the favourites to win the Europa League, what won't be good news is that their arch rivals Liverpool have now won the Premier League, equally their record of 20 domestic league titles in the process.
