Everton lead Liverpool and Tottenham in race for Malaga hitman

Published:

Defenders across La Liga have found Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez too hot to handle this season. But it could soon be Premier League centre-backs having to worry about the youngster, with Everton 3/1 favourites for his signature.

The 21-year-old has been outstanding through the campaign, netting 16 goals in 29 games – a total which would surely have been higher were it not for a hamstring injury earlier this year.

His form right now is scintillating, with seven goals in as many games, including a superb winning goal against Barcelona. And having also added four assists this term, there’s no shortage of sides who are keen on snapping up the Las Palmas native.

Everton lead the betting, and if Sandro is to go to Goodison Park, our traders reckon it’ll be this summer – with 7/2 on offer for him to join Ronald Koeman’s men in the coming transfer window.

Liverpool are second-best at 4/1 to make Anfield his next home, with Tottenham 9/2 shots to add the former Barcelona prodigy to their ranks.

Meanwhile, if he is to stay in Spain, chances are it’ll be with one of Atletico Madrid (6/1), Villarreal or Sevilla (both 7s).

But it’s a Prem trio who round out the betting, with Newcastle United and Southampton 10/1 to sign the prolific Spaniard, while Stoke City are rank outsiders at 12/1.
