Everton v Norwich betting tips and odds
Both teams are back in Premier League action this weekend having been knocked out of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
The Toffees were eliminated by QPR in a penalty shoot-out and much-changed Norwich lost 3-0 to a weakened Liverpool team for the second time this season.
Rafael Benitez’s Everton side are the 3/5 favourites to win on Saturday as we look at the markets and odds in our Everton v Norwich betting tips.
Match Odds
Everton’s unbeaten start to the season came to a shuddering halt last weekend when a second-half blitz consigned them to a 3-0 defeat at Aston Villa, but Norwich’s agony shows no sign of abating.
The Canaries had the toughest of all starts but had hoped to get the ball rolling at home to Watford last weekend. Daniel Farke was left to rue defensive mistakes though in a 3-1 defeat during which possession and shot counts were equal.
With no points on the board, the Canaries are 4/11 favourites to be relegated and 19/4 to win at Goodison Park, with a draw priced at 29/10 for Saturday’s Everton v Norwich betting tips.

Norwich could not be facing Everton at a better time with Jordan Pickford, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all injured, although they still have a decent enough squad to beat the visitors.
Everton won their first two home games 3-1 against Southampton and Burnley, so we go 12/5 on a home win and both teams to score or 12/1 on that scoreline once again, but those victories came with the three injured players mentioned above in the starting XI, excluding the win against the Clarets for which Calvert-Lewin was absent.
This match could be a lot closer than the odds suggest, so we have a goal in both halves and the match to end in a draw at 6/1, while both teams to score, over 2.5 match goals and either team to win is 6/4 in our #GetAPrice specials.
Talking Tactics
Salomon Rondon is likely to start up front for Everton who also have problems in defence, with Seamus Coleman out injured and Lucas Digne limping off 10 minutes from the end of the game at Loftus Road.
Benitez went with a 3-4-3 for the win against Burnley, but opted for a 4-4-1-1 at Villa Park in which Demarai Gray moved off the wing to play in the number 10 role behind Rondon, so it remains to be seen how the Spaniard approaches Saturday’s game.
Farke is likely to go with a 4-3-3 with Teemu Pukki spearheading the attack supported by two from Milot Rashica, Josh Sargent, Kieran Dowell and Christos Tzolis who was criticised by the City boss for taking the penalty off first-choice Adam Idah on Tuesday.
Goalscorer Odds
Rondon is the 7/2 favourite to get the game’s first goal and 11/8 to score, but Gray and Andros Townsend are on hot streaks at the moment and can be backed at 4/1 and 15/2 to break the deadlock or 6/4 and 14/5 just to score in our Everton v Norwich betting tips.
Midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has an eye for goal and is 11/1 and 4/1 in the two markets, while Alex Iwobi is 7/1 and 13/5.
Norwich have scored just twice in five games, both goals coming from Pukki who is 6/1 to break the deadlock or 9/4 to score.
Of the outsiders, Rashica, Pierre Lees-Melou and Billy Gimour look worth considering at 4/1, 6/1 and 10/1 respectively.
