As the 2024/25 competition reaches the quarter-final stage, Ladbrokes every team's FA Cup odds, with an underdog winner potentially on the cards.

With Manchester City the only remaining side to have won the FA Cup since 1959, this year's tournament sits wide open as we head into the final stages, with the prospect of a new winner one that has fans and pundits excited.

Half of the teams who have reached this season's quarter-finals are looking to win the trophy for the very first time, while Championship side Preston hope to become the first winners to play their league football outside of the top flight since 1980.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are both looking to lift the FA Cup for the first time since the 1950s, as the two sides also compete against each other in the Premier League's race for Europe.

FA Cup Quarter Final matches and odds

Bournemouth vs Manchester City

The current favourites to win the FA Cup this year, Manchester City look to avenge last season's final defeat to rivals Manchester United and reclaim the trophy they won in 2023, with a trip to Bournemouth standing between them and a Wembley semi-final.

The hosts won the Premier League meeting between these two sides back in November, with the Cherries now hoping to reach the FA Cup semis for the first time ever, having lost their only previous quarter-final appearance in 2021.

Remarkably, Man City haven't lost an FA Cup quarter-final since 1993, winning all of their previous nine matches at this stage, and with the Premier League title seemingly heading to Liverpool, this competition presents Pep Guardiola with his last chance of a domestic trophy this season.

The bookies fancy City to get the job done at the Vitality Stadium and progress to the semi-finals, but with Bournemouth having such a strong season in the league, this is by no means a foregone conclusion.

Preston North End vs Aston Villa

The only remaining side to play outside of the top flight, Preston welcome Aston Villa to Deepdale as they look to win an FA Cup quarter-final for the first time since 1964.

Villa, who themselves have reached this stage of the tournament for the first time since losing the final in 2015, are currently second-favourites to go on and win the trophy for the eighth time, with Unai Emery's side odds-on to feature in April's semi-finals.

With a Champions League quarter-final to look forward to, Aston Villa are still fighting on multiple fronts this season, but this tie against Championship opposition gives the Villans an excellent opportunity to progress to Wembley and lift the FA Cup for the first time in nearly 70 years.

Preston have the longest odds of adding the FA Cup to their trophy cabinet, priced at 100/1, but with Paul Heckingbottom's side unbeaten at home since November 2024, they will fancy their chances of upsetting the odds and beating their Premier League opponents.

Brighton vs Nottingham Forest

Two Champions League chasers meet at the AMEX as Brighton host Nottingham Forest, with Ladbrokes backing a home win despite Forest's superior league position.

The last meeting between these two sides ended 7-0 in Forest's favour back at the start of February, but Brighton haven't lost a game since, and will see this FA Cup campaign as the perfect chance to win their first major honour and put a new name on the trophy.

Brighton would become the first team since Leicester in 2021 to win the FA Cup for the first time, and with just one home defeat in 2025, they are the bookies' tip to progress to the semis at Forest's expense.

The visitors have won the FA Cup twice before, most recently in 1959, and would have every right to be confident of adding a third should they navigate this tricky quarter-final, with Forest now the highest ranked team left in the competition.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace

As the only quarter-final being contested by two teams to have never won the FA Cup before, Fulham will see this London derby as the perfect opportunity to progress to the semis for just the second time since the turn of the millenium.

Both of this season's Premier League meetings have been won 2-0 by the away side, which will give Crystal Palace reason to believe that they can get past their hosts and compete in a semi-final for the second time in four seasons.

Palace go into the match in excellent form, particularly away from home, and the fans will be desperate to get back to Wembley after FA Cup heartbreak in 2022 and 2016, with that elusive first major honour in their sights.

Fulham are marginal favourites with the bookies, but whichever side comes out on top at Craven Cottage will begin to dream of lifting the FA Cup, becoming a unique winner and making club history.
