FA Cup winner odds: United 2/1 to follow up Carabao Cup success
There were shocks aplenty in this week’s fifth round of the FA Cup when Premier League sides Tottenham, Leicester and Southampton were all eliminated by lower-league opponents.
The biggest shock came at St Mary’s where Grimsby scored two penalties in a 2-1 victory to set up a quarter-final trip to Brighton.
A Championship club is guaranteed a place in the semi-finals after Sheffield United and Blackburn were paired together in Wednesday’s draw as we look at the latest FA Cup winner odds.
Manchester City
Pep Guardiola picked a very strong team for Tuesday’s 3-0 fifth-round victory at Bristol City which maintained their record of not conceding in the competition.

A 4-0 rout of Chelsea in round three was followed by a 1-0 victory over Premier League title rivals Arsenal, before Phil Foden struck a double and Kevin De Bruyne added a superb third at Ashton Gate to secure a home tie against runaway Championship leaders Burnley, managed by City legend Vincent Kompany.
A Manchester derby is still possible, so a second FA Cup in five years is not guaranteed, but they deserve their favourites status.
Manchester United
The Red Devils already have their hands on one piece of silverware after winning the Carabao Cup and remain on course for an unlikely quadruple thanks to Wednesday’s comeback win against West Ham which sealed their place in the quarter-finals.
Three days on from their victory over Newcastle at Wembley, the Hammers took a deserved 54th-minute lead through Said Benrahma which prompted United manager Erik ten Hag to throw on the cavalry, introducing Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez from off the bench, having already brought on Casemiro at half-time.

United equalised through a Nayef Aguerd own goal and late goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Fred secured a home clash with Fulham.
Fighting on three fronts will prove tough to handle, but they are showing no signs of letting up.
Brighton
The Seagulls booked a quarter-final clash with Grimsby thanks to Tuesday’s 1-0 victory at Stoke, having knocked out Liverpool in round four.
Eighth-placed Brighton are in the mix for European football next season, but a favourable draw means they are in with a chance of at least reaching the FA Cup final 40 years on from their one and only appearance.
Fulham
A 2-0 win against Leeds fired Fulham into the quarter-finals for the first time in 13 years and Marco Silva admitted the club have “really high ambitions” for the competition.

Two stunning goals from Joao Palhinha and in-form winger Manor Solomon set up a clash with Manchester United, who beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage in November.
The Cottagers are flying high in the Premier League and stand a chance of winning at Old Trafford if Ten Hag decides to rest some of his big guns again.
Best of the rest
Iliman Ddiaye scored six minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute as Sheffield United caused a big shock by defeating Tottenham 1-0 at Bramall Lane. The Blades are 25/1 to win the FA Cup for the first time in almost 100 years, but standing in their way of the semi-finals are Blackburn who also eliminated top-flight opponents with a deserved 2-1 win at Leicester.

Rovers are 40/1 to win the FA Cup, with Championship leaders Burnley 33/1 after they scraped past 10-man Fleetwood to set up a clash with Manchester City.
League Two side Grimsby are in the quarter-finals for the first time since the Second World War and are the 250/1 outsiders to lift the trophy.
