Grace Davies is the most backed contestant to win X Factor, and has been top of the punters’ pile ever since her first addition was aired.

The 20-year-old has received more bets than any other act this year with Ladbrokes. And her backers could well have plenty to celebrate, with the Blackburn native 5/2 favourite to win the tournament.

While market leader Grace is the most-backed act, Rak-Su are the most popular band remaining group by some distance.

The all-male quartet from Watford are 9/2 third-favourites to win X Factor 2017.

The most popular boy remains 23-year-old Lloyd Macey. The man from South Wales wowed judges with his version of Sam Smith’s ‘Lay Me Down’, and convinced plenty of Ladbrokes customers that he’s the man to back. At 25/1, glory for the outsider would force the bookies to make a big payout.

Meanwhile, in the Over 25s group, Matt Linnen has received the strongest backing. The plasterer from Southend is sixth in the betting at 16/1, and could still prove his supporters right.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s been nothing but amazing Grace so far this year, and punters are banking on the Blackburn girl doing the business in the live shows. Lloyd is edging the popularity contest for the Boys up to this point, but we may see that change drastically over the coming weeks.”
