2023/24 football betting outright tips

Ladbrokes takes you through it’s football betting outright tips for the remainder of the 2023/24 season, with picks from the Premier League, Champions League and even 2024 European Championship.

The Premier League season is over halfway through now, and the picture over the title race, top four battle and fight to stay in the division are beginning to take proper shape as we head into the home straight.

Aston Villa are continuing to impress so far this season, so with no sign of slowing down, could they be picks for a top four place? And with Man City five points behind Liverpool, are Jurgen Klopp’s side worth a punt at the Premier League title this season?

Crystal Palace to get relegated – 9/1

Admittedly, we start with the punchiest pick of this list, but could Crystal Palace find themselves playing Championship football next season?

While their squad is far too talented to get relegated, Palace haven’t been getting the results needed this season, and some are even calling for the board to replace Roy Hodgson before the end of the campaign.

If Luton, who sit in 18th place, win their game in hand, then they’ll only be three points behind Palace this season. With 18 games to go, could well find themselves, Hodgson’s side could well find themselves fighting for their Premier League status.

It’s unlikely to happen, there’s no denying that, but at the price of 9/1, Palace to get relegated could be worth a low-stake punt.

Aston Villa to finish in the top four – 4/5

Aston Villa have been the standout team in the Premier League this season, especially when compared with their expectations going into the 2023/24 campaign.

Unai Emery’s side are second in the table so far this season, with 18 games left to go, finding themselves only three points behind Liverpool, who lead the pack.

Villa beat both Arsenal and Man City in impressive performances towards the end of last year, and could be set for a prolonged spell in the top four if they continue their rich vein of form.

At the price of 4/5, Villa finishing inside the top four and ending the season with Champions League football to look forward to next campaign could be worth a bet.

Liverpool to win the Premier League – 9/4

Liverpool are top of the Premier League right now, having amassed 45 points in the 20 games played so far. They sit three point above Aston Villa in second, five points above both Arsenal and Man City, although Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand.

Many are still expecting City to walk away as Premier League champions for the fourth consecutive time, and that’s reflected in the odds, with them being priced at 8/11.

However, Liverpool to win the title for the first time since 2020 could be worth a punt too, at the price of 9/4.

Ipswich to get promoted to the Premier League – 8/11

Ipswich have been one of the most impressive outfits in the Championship this season, sitting in second place in England’s second-tier at the time of writing.

The chances of them winning the league are quite slim, given that they’re ten points behind Leicester City, who are in first place and look almost certain to return to the Premier League later this year.

However, Ipswich to get promoted at the price of 8/11 could represent a smart bet, with Kieran McKenna playing fantastic football with his side so far this campaign.

Bayern Munich to win the Champions League – 4/1

Harry Kane has joined Bayern Munich in search of his first trophy, and it could end up being the 2023/24 Champions League title.

One of the best attacking sides in the world, with a fantastic defence to boot, Bayern have all the makings of a top European side, and they’ll be hard to beat on football’s biggest stage.

At the price of 4/1 to win the Champions League, Bayern have been placed as the second-favourites to win the tournament, only behind Man City, and a small punt could represent a smart bet.

England to win Euro 2024 – 7/2

England are going into Euro 2024 as one of the favourites, priced at 7/2 by Ladbrokes, the same as France getting into the tournament.

With the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham and the aforementioned Harry Kane, England have all the makings of a top side heading into this summer’s tournament, and could represent a smart bet.
