Belarusian Premier League Betting Tips: Can BATE continue their climb?

| 23.04.2020

The Belarusian Premier League serves up another round of action this weekend, with eight matches to look forward to.

With only three points separating the top ten, teams could fly up the table if they can put together a decent run.

There are two games on Friday, then three apiece on Saturday and Sunday, and we’ve focused on the standout fixtures here.

Gorodeya v BATE Borisov (15:00, Saturday)

After a rocky start, Gorodeya have climbed to fourth after winning three in a row without conceding a single goal.

They’ll be hoping to maintain that momentum here, but our traders have BATE as clear 8/15 favourites.

However, they’ve lost on both of their previous two visits to Gorodeya Stadium. The hosts are a 5/1 shot, with the draw priced at 12/5.

Belarus’ traditional powerhouse opened the campaign with two consecutive losses, but they seem to be back on track now.

They’ve picked up seven of the last nine points available. Now they’re only three points off the top in eighth, is this where they really click into gear?

BATE and Both Teams to Score is going for 17/5.

Slutsksakhar Slutsk v Belshina Bobruisk (12:00, Sunday)

It’s a clash of top against bottom here. Slutsk are top on goal difference, as the highest scorers in the division so far. Belshina are one of only two sides without a win yet this season.

The team’s contrasting form sees Slutsk installed as 7/10 favourites with Belshina rated 15/4 to get a much-needed win.

And if you fancy a repeat of last year’s 2-1 home win, that’s available for 15/2.

Expecting a dominant display from the league leaders? We go 3/2 that they win to nil, while 15/8 says that they’re leading at Half Time and Full Time.

Belarus Premier League round-up

Friday’s action sees Smolevichy (3/1) looking for a first win of the season at home to Dinamo Minsk (10/11). Neman Grodno then face Zvezda-Va-BGU Minsk in the evening fixture, with little to call between the two sides.

On Saturday, Slavia Mozyr (11/10) will aim to get back to winning ways against a struggling Minsk side in the early kick-off. Then Dinamo Brest (23/10) take on Shakhter Soligorsk (9/4) in the later game.

On Sunday, we’re in for Torpedo-Belaz’s clash against FC Ruh Brest. Torpedo are flying high in third, can they get another win at 10/11?

The final fixture of the weekend is second-placed Vitebsk’s trip to Isloch. Isloch ran out 3-0 victors in this fixture last term. They’re 21/20 this time around, with Sergey Yasinsky’s side going for 5/2.
