Brady out and Wildschut in on a busy day for Norwich at Carrow Road

Published:

It may have been a quiet day in terms of headlines, but Norwich City have been rather busy on this Deadline Day.

The Canaries have agreed terms with Wigan’s Yanic Wildschut, whose imminent arrival paves the way for Robbie Brady to join Burnley.

The Brady deal – worth around £13m – would smash the Clarets’ current record fee of £10.5m for Jeff Hendrick from Derby.

Wildschut meanwhile, is a Dutch U21 international who has been with the Latics for 12 months, with a three-month loan spell prior to that.

The 25-year-old waas previously at Middlesbrough, who snapped up the Dutchman from Heerenveen.

Norwich have also signed Ajax defender Mitchell Dijks.

And the comings and goings have stopped there, with Sergi Canos joining Brentford today in a £2.5m move, while Carlton Morris has moved to Rotherham on loan.

Alex Neil’s men aren’t in action now until the weekend, and we make them 7/5 to win at Cardiff on Saturday.
