C’ship Accumulator: Back our fourfold at 25/1
Published:Begin 2013 with a payout just shy of 25/1 by backing our Championship fourfold that takes advantage of some generous prices on home sides.
Leeds to beat Bolton @ 11/8
On the road, Neil Warnock’s men are no great shakes, but their form at Elland Road has kept them within touching distance of the play-off places.
Their victory over Middlesbrough was more than a touch fortunate last time out but, nevertheless, it was their fourth league win on the spin in front of their home crowd.
They next host a Bolton team who have not kept single clean sheet and failed to win all but one of their last eight away days so you’ve got fancy them collect all three points here.
Crystal Palace to beat Wolves @ 10/11
After a stellar start to life with the Eagles, Ian Holloway has not had it all his own way with the Selhurst Park club.
They’re currently on a run of one win in eight outings and are in danger of falling behind the chasing pack in the promotion race.
Wolves aren’t good travelers, however, and Palace can get their season back on track against this opposition.
Five defeats and no clean sheets in their previous seven jaunts away from the west Midlands makes Wanderers easy meat for those bidding to play in next season’s Premier League.
Peterborough to beat Barnsley @ 6/5
The Posh suffered a demoralising defeat to relegation rivals Bristol City last time out which ended a run of three straight wins. Had they not been down to 10 men for 78 minutes of the contest, however, the result might have been more favourable.
They play host to a Barnsley side rooted to the foot of the table and without a manager next so a repeat of the 2-0 victory they pulled off when they met at Oakwell earlier in the campaign is very much on the cards.
Ipswich to beat Brighton @ 6/4
Since Mick McCarthy’s arrival, Ipswich have become one of the most dependable sides in the Championship and have steered away from relegation danger in the past few weeks.
They’ve been victorious in five of their previous seven games and prepare to host an out of sorts Brighton team that hasn’t claimed the spoils in any of their last five.
Back the McCarthy revolution to continue at a strong price here.
