League leading Foxes are foundation of Championship treble

Published:

Following on from a successful 3/1 midweek Championship treble our news team have come up with another tasty accumulator from the second tier of English football.

Derby, QPR and Reading were the selections that helped land the bet on Tuesday night but this weekend table-toppers Leicester are the foundation of a treble at odds of just over 5/1.

Add Blackburn and Wigan to the bet and £10 stake will pay a return of £56.90.

Leicester to beat Bournemouth @ 10/11

A run of eight straight wins in the Championship has seen Leicester move eight points clear at the top of the Championship and a trip to Bournemouth should see the Foxes at least maintain their lead at the summit.

The Cherries are no pushovers at home after just one defeat, to Liverpool, in their last six matches in all competitions at Dean Court but Nigel Pearson’s side, who are unbeaten in their last four on the road in the Championship, should have enough firepower to seal all three points.

Blackburn to beat Blackpool @ 8/11

Blackburn are without a win in their last three league matches  but the visit of  out-of-form Blackpool should see Rovers get back to winning  ways.

Barry Ferguson’s side have gone 11 Championship games without a victory and are on a run of seven straight defeats in all competitions.

Tuesday night’s 5-1 hammering at the hands of Reading would not have done already low confidence levels in the Tangerines squad any good and Gary Bowyer’s side, who have suffered just one defeat in their last nine at Ewood Park, can take full advantage.

Wigan to beat Charlton @ 8/11

Derby and Brighton are the only two sides to have emerged victorious against Wigan at the DW Stadium in a run stretching back 15 league matches.

Charlton have had some success on away trips in the FA Cup recently but in the league they have not won in six matches, with a 3-0 defeat to Doncaster their latest effort.
