Cork punter turns €0.50 into over €2,000 with 4,266/1 football acca

| 06.04.2020

One of our plucky punters made it a Super Sunday to remember by turning €0.50 into €2,133.99 with a six-fold accumulator spanning Belarus, Burundi and Belarus.

The three Bs conspired to land our Cork-based punter a huge W after he decided to take on the favourites by backing six odds-against shots.

That decision looked set to backfire 60 minutes into the Belarusian Premier League match between FC Slutsk and FC Isloch, with Slutsk 2-1 behind after having initially taken a 1-0 lead.

But our speculative punter’s foresight was rewarded as the visitors scored twice in the 61st and 75th minute to take all three points and hand our Irish bettor a magnificent win.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Even though there is very little football going on right now, this fan’s interest in international football has netted him a tidy sum.”

She continues, “Picking out six odds-against shots to the tune of 4,266/1 is simply incredible and we take our hats off to him.”
