Man United v Club Brugge Betting Tips: Will the Reds get over the line?

Published:
Odion Ighalo - Man United

We’re tightly poised at 1-1 going into this EuropaLeague last-32 second leg. Anthony Martial’s away goal in Belgium could provevital as Club Brugge head to Old Trafford tonight.

Manchester United are in good form after wins overChelsea and Watford and are well in the race for a top-four finish in thePremier League.

Despite this, they will see this competition as a serious opportunity and are 13/2 to win the whole thing and qualify for the Champions League.

But Brugge were dangerous last week and could proveso again tonight…

Match Odds

The Reds are 4/9 to win the game in 90 minutes. But if you fancy a little flutter on a correct score then a2-0 home win comes in at 24/5.

If you’re backing Brugge to do what only threeteams have done all season and beat United at home, they’re available at15/2.

The Belgians will need to get an away goal and are6/1 to be leading at half time. A 2-2 draw that would see them go through is 20/1.

We’ve got odds of 1/5 for the Red Devils to progress with the visitors at 10/3 to advance.

Talking Tactics

Expect Sergio Romero to take over the gloves fromDavid de Gea, but the spine of the team should remain with skipper HarryMaguire, new signing Bruno Fernandes and the in-form Martial all starting.

Brandon Williams may come in for Luke Shaw at leftback but Mason Greenwood could make way for the experienced Juan Mata. OdionIghalo could start and Scott McTominay will be itching to make his first appearancesince returning from injury.

Over in the blue corner, Brugge have a real injury crisis with midfielder Ruud Vormer out with a knee problem and first leg goal-getter Emmanuel Bonaventure also on the treatment table.

This could see the away side revert to a 3-5-2 witha 5-3-2 in transition and United will also have to watch for Hans Vanaken who’snotched 12 goals in 27 games in the Belgian top flight.

Goalscorer Odds

Martial is favourite to net first at 11/4 and 21/20 anytime. Ighalo is next on the list at 5/4 to score his first United goal  anytime and at 6/1 to gobble up a brace or more.

Midfield maestro Fernandes is 13/8 anytime, withskipper Maguire 16/1 to open the scoring.

Jesse Lingard may feature and he’s 10/3 anytime to score his first goal in 2020.

Brugge may be missing a few men, but both Vanakenand Krmencik are 9/2 to score anytime.
