Football Acca: Premier League tips for this weekend’s games

Premier League acca

We might be in the midst of a winter break, but Premier League action continues this weekend, so our football acca tips sheet does as well.

With Arsenal and Liverpool in action, playing home and away respectively, there’s still some top teams to play this weekend, and Ladbrokes takes you through its acca for this weekend’s action.

Our four-fold acca can be backed at the price of 12.28/1 at the time of writing, featuring victories for Brentford and a draw for West Ham as well…

Football Acca Tips

Arsenal to beat Crystal Palace – 2/7

Our first fixture takes us to the Emirates Stadium, where Arsenal will be hoping to end their winless run with a victory against a struggling Crystal Palace side.

Despite having an immensely talented squad, Roy Hodgson hasn’t been delivering results for his side this season and he’s one of the five managers Ladbrokes has as the favourite to lose his job next.

Although Arsenal aren’t playing the best football right now, Mikel Arteta’s side simply has too much quality to not beat Palace tomorrow, and a warm-weather training camp in the Middle East should have given The Gunners some much-needed rest as they enter the second half of the season.

As such, we’re going for an Arsenal win here, priced at 2/7, which forms the first part of our weekend acca.

Brentford to beat Nottingham Forest – 20/23

Ivan Toney is back after eight months out on Saturday, and will captain Brentford against Nottingham Forest where he’ll be hoping to show that he hasn’t missed a step.

The inclusion of Toney could give the match some extra spice, and considering how injury depleted Brentford are right now, the Englishman being avalaiable again will come as music to the ears of Thomas Frank.

The fact Toney, one of England’s best strikers on his day, is back, coupled with Nottingham Forest having played 120 minutes in the FA Cup on Wednesday night, means we’re going for a Brentford home win on Saturday, at the price of 20/23.

West Ham & Sheffield United to draw – 9/4

The punchiest of the picks in our acca, we’re going for a draw between West Ham and Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon at the price of 9/4.

While David Moyes’ side have been much better this season, they’ll be without star men Mohamed Kudus, who is on international duty, and Lucas Paqueta who is out with an injury. Jarrod Bowen is also a doubt for the game, but may be able to make a recovery in time to face The Blades this weekend.

With so many top players out, and a Sheffield United side hoping to string results together to stay in the division, we think a draw could be worth a punt, and it’s going in as the penulimate pick of our acca.

Liverpool to beat Bournemouth – 7/10

Liverpool lost away at Bournemouth last season, but The Reds are a much better outfit this campaign, and are currently sat in first place as the league leaders, two points ahead of reigning champions Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Bournemouth 3-1 earlier on this season, and we’re predicting more of the same this time around, with a Liverpool win going in as the final pick of our acca at the price of 7/10.

Liverpool may be without the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah, through either injury or international duty, but they should still have enough cover in their reserves to see of Bournemouth, who’ll also be missing key players who are away at AFCON.

Our Premier League weekend acca can be placed at Ladbrokes for the price of 12.28/1, at the time of writing.
