Gaston Ramirez 11/8 to join Leicester – prompting Leonardo Ulloa exit

Published:

Leicester are just 11/8 to sign Middlesbrough’s Gaston Ramirez in the dying embers of today’s transfer Deadline Day. And the move could have major ramifcations elsewhere.

Boro boss Aitor Karanka has claimed Ramirez is not for sale, but reports continue to suggest a deal could still go ahead.

And if the Uruguayan did move to the Foxes, that could free up Leonardo Ulloa.

The Argentine forward has claimed he has been ‘betrayed’ by both Leicester and Claudio Ranieri, with the club rejecting numerous bids for the 30-year-old.

But should Ramirez arrive, then the Foxes really wouldn’t need to keep the versatile striker on their books.

Ulloa is 6/4 to become a Sunderland player tonight, with our traders still feeling that a move could happen after the Black Cats made a trio of bids.

And it’s 5/1 that Ulloa ends up at West Brom this evening, with the Baggies known to be courting a striker.
