Premier League Betting Tips: Aston Villa and Man United to take all three points?

Published:

Just about caught your breath from another whirl-wind night of Premier League football? Arsenal went to down to ten men again, Leeds hit five at home to Newcastle while Bobby Firmino sunk Jose Mourinho’s Spurs with a late Liverpool winner at Anfield.

Tonight sees Manchester United join the party, hoping to get themselves in the mix at the top of end of the table against winless Sheffield United.

Aston Villa go first though, looking to ruffle some more feathers with the visit of Burnley.

Aston Villa v Burnley (18:00)

It seems a lifetime ago that Aston Villa were a VAR decision – at Sheffield United – away from being relegated last season.

Dean Smith has added some sauce and substance this season by bringing in Ross Barkley to play alongside Jack Grealish, while being helped by the return of midfield general John McGinn.

Villa, who have three games in hand on those around them can go seventh with victory at 3/4.

After a slow start Burnley have only lost once in five games with Sean Dyche’s side at 21/20 on the Win/Draw Double Chance.

The home side will be without Douglas Luiz and Matty Cash, with the draw at 27/10.

The goalscorers market is headed by Villa’s Ollie Watkins (13/10) anytime, while last weekend’s penalty hero Anwar El Ghazi is 13/5 to score.

Chris Wood is 15/8 to score for Burnley, while Ashley Barnes is at 13/2 to open the scoring.

Sheffield United v Manchester United (20:00)

Without the injured Oli McBurnie, rock-bottom Sheffield United will need a Dwayne Johnson-like finisher to have a shot of beating Man United tonight.

The Blades are a long 7/1 to beat the Red Devils at home and will hope Lys Mousset (3/1 anytime)  has his shooting boots on.

Both Teams to Score is 19/20 but with Anthony Martial back in contention to start, United are overwhelming 4/9 favourites to triumph.

Bruno Fernandes has been a revelation since arriving at Old Trafford in January, contributing to a goal in 11 of his 12 Premier League away games so far. The Portuguese star is 6/4 to have an assist and 11/10 to score at Brammall Lane.

Despite their wretched form, Sheffield United haven’t been brushed aside by many teams this season. The draw stands at 17/5.
