Premier League preview: Five matches to consider in your Wednesday acca

| 24.06.2020

Premier League games are like London buses right now – but instead of two there’s five coming along at once tonight.

Whether it’s at the top of the table, the fight for European spots or the relegation scrap, tonight has got the lot

We’ve had a closer look at all five fixtures which might be worth a sniff in your acca…

Man United v Sheffield United (18:00 UK Time)

When these two sides met at Brammall Lane they played out a 3-3 draw. A repeat scoreline from that topsy-turvy game is 100/1.

Both sides are well in the hunt for European football and Sheffield United are 15/2 to win and deal a blow to one of their nearest challengers.

The Red Devils pair of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes looked good against Tottenham for large spells, you can find Fernandes at 12/5 to score in a home win.

Norwich City v Everton (18:00 UK Time)

Norwich are rock bottom and need three points desperately if they’re to stand a chance of the ‘great escape’.

The Canaries have grown increasingly shot shy of late however, scoring just once in the league in seven games.

You can get Everton to win to nil at 13/5, while a crucial Norwich victory is 3/1. You can find the draw at 5/2.

Newcastle United v Aston Villa (18:00 UK Time)

Newcastle are coming off the back of an impressive three-nil win over Sheffield Utd last time out. Another victory here at 27/20 could be enough to see them safe from the drop.

Allan Saint-Maximin has been a revelation since his arrival on Tyneside and is 3/1 to score anytime.

Villa are right in a relegation dog-fight but a repeat of the win in November at 27/20 could see them above the drop-zone and pile the pressure on those around them.

Wolves v Bournemouth (18:00 UK Time)

A win at home to Bournemouth tonight at 4/7 and Wolves will have a real chance of hunting down a top four spot.

The Cherries are scoring less than a goal a game right now, so may need to keep a clean sheet and Win to Nil at 17/2.

But with the likes of Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore and Ruben Neves in your squad, Wolves are 17/10 to win with Over 2.5 goals in the game.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace (20:15 UK Time)

Remember what happened last time Liverpool met Palace in a title run in? There may be no Dwight Gayle this time, but a repeat of that 3-3 scoreline from 2014 is 200/1.

But this time Liverpool have breathing room – 20 points of it – and they’re 3/10 to edge closer to their first ever Premier League title.

Both Teams to Score in a home win has now been boosted to 9/4. Palace to thwart the Reds again? We go 10/1 for the away victory.
