Price Boost: Manchester’s finest and Liverpool make up tasty treble

| 31.12.2014

A full set of Premier League fixtures ushers in 2015 but while we may be entering a new year it could pay to bank on seeing more of the same from three of the EPL’s big hitters.

Ladbrokes are offering an enhanced treble involving Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool with the price on all three to triumph in their respective fixtures boosted from 9/4 to a juicy 3/1*.

And with the trio suffering just one defeat between them in over five weeks, it’s easy to see why this particular price boost is so tempting.

Manchester United kick-off the action on New Year’s Day with the Red Devils travelling to face a Stoke side who they’ve beaten in 11 of their previous 13 Premier League encounters.

Goals from Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata made the difference when Louis van Gaal’s men saw off the Potters by a 2-1 scoreline in early December.

That victory contributed to United’s current nine-game unbeaten run, a sequence that looks set to continue at the Britannia Stadium.

Next up, Liverpool prepare to host Leicester at Anfield in a match where they can ill afford to lose any more ground on their top four rivals.

Brendan Rodgers’ outfit comfortably saw off Swansea on home soil last time out. And the Reds will be expected to triumph against the league’s bottom club given the Foxes’ run of 11 defeats in their last 14 games.

Manchester City round-off our treble with the champions taking on Sunderland at the Etihad.

The visitors were smashed 4-1 in the reverse fixture and may not fare any better when the two sides clash again.

City haven’t lost at home to the Black Cats in 11 Premier League encounters, winning nine of those contests.
