Silva isn’t finished yet: Odds slashed on Hull signing ex-Man United ace

Published:

You’d never guess Hull City were in a Premier League relegation scrap with the level of excitement currently surrounding the KCOM Stadium.

It looks as though Marco Silva’s appointment has worked wonders for both players and fans.

The Tigers have won three of their six games under the former Olympiacos man, who has already added six names to his ranks since taking over at the start of January.

But he isn’t finished yet, and the latest odds are suggesting his biggest signing could be just around the corner.

Former Manchester United star Nani is the latest name to be linked with a loan move to the Tigers.

But while that seemed like a distant dream just 24 hours ago, our traders have now slashed odds of that move taking place from 5/1 to just 9/4 – the shortest they’ve ever been.

Nani was a key figure in Portugal’s European Championship win last year, and the 30-year-old earned himself a move to Valencia off the back of his summer performances.

But things haven’t gone according to plan in Spain, with Los Che currently sitting in 15th place in La Liga.

And although a move to Hull would see Nani join a team in a genuine relegation battle for the first time in his career – he’ll feel he has unfinished business in England.

With 147 Premier League appearances and 25 goals to his name, Nani boasts a wealth of experience which could be the deciding factor between the Tigers going down or staying up.

Of course, the fact that Silva himself is Portuguese has only added fuel to this fire.

What do fans think? Would you welcome Nani’s arrival?
