Take on the Tipster: The News team go again following heavy loss

| 31.10.2014

In football, in sport in general, nay, in life, you hear a lot of hard luck stories. You know what I’m talking about. Penalties not awarded, harsh red cards, balls crossing the line and goals not given.

But I’m afraid we can’t bleat about any injustices following our latest Take on the Tipster defeat. Last week’s challenger, @Ijiots, absolutely wiped the floor with us.

The fact that the final score was 10-8 is irrelevant and flattered us somewhat. Sharon’s tipping expertise proved too hot to handle.

But, this is another week and we’ve got the chance to redeem ourselves. @StevenOSulliva4 will be the contestant aiming to grab the prize on offer.

Will Steven land a £25 FREE BET?

As always, the format is simple. Our man has given us his predictions for this week’s Premier League matches and we’ve laid out our own verdict.

One point will be awarded for a correct result with three points for guessing the correct score.

Here are Steven’s Premier League predictions:

Newcastle 2-1 Liverpool

Arsenal 2-0 Burnley

Chelsea 4-1 QPR

Everton 3-1 Swansea

Hull 2-3 Southampton

Leicester 1-2 West Brom

Stoke 1-3 West Ham

Man City 1-1 Man United (Sun)

Aston Villa 0-2 Tottenham (Sun)

Crystal Palace 1-1 Sunderland (Mon)

And here’s what we’ve gone for…

Newcastle 2-2 Liverpool

Arsenal 3-0 Burnley

Chelsea 2-0 QPR

Everton 2-1 Swansea

Hull 0-1 Southampton

Leicester 1-1 West Brom

Stoke 1-2 West Ham

Man City 2-1 Man United (Sun)

Aston Villa 0-2 Tottenham (Sun)

Crystal Palace 1-0 Sunderland (Mon)
