West Ham’s David Moyes leads Premier League sack race

West Ham manager David Moyes is the early favourite in the Premier League sack race.

Our traders have revealed the most likely names to be the first manager to be sent packing, and as things stand its Hammers boss Moyes who leads the way at 2/1.

Former West Ham captain and current Fulham gaffer Scott Parker is next in the betting at 5/1 after back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Leeds United.

And despite his side thumping Southampton 5-2 on Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is now just third-favourite at 6/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “West Ham’s fixture list doesn’t exactly favour David Moyes and there’s every chance he’ll be out of the door by the end of October if the latest odds are anything to go by.”

It’s been a turbulent summer for Hammers’ fans who saw exciting attacking prospect Grady Diangana sold to West Bromwich Albion in the transfer window, and Moyes could get the chop if his side don’t start picking up three points soon.
