Serie A betting tips: Napoli out to preserve flawless start

Serie A betting tips and odds

Napoli look to maintain their perfect start to the season and their clash with Torino is one of three fixtures previewed in our Serie A betting tips.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho’s Roma travel to Turin for a crunch clash with Juventus while we also take a look at Atalanta’s trip to Empoli.

Let’s begin, though, at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium where the leaders are 2/5 to record an eighth straight victory.

Napoli vs Torino (Sun, 17:00)

Luciano Spalletti’s side have carried all before them so far and there is little fluke about their place at the top of the table.

Torino, who are 13/2 for the upset, saw their own four-game unbeaten run come to an end when losing the Turin derby 1-0 to arch-rivals Juventus.

Torino have conceded after 75 minutes in their last three and also in the previous two head-to-heads with Napoli, so the second half could be the place to find the most goals at 17/20.

Napoli’s success this term has mainly been down to their rock-solid defence that has only conceded three times. It is 11/10 for a fifth clean sheet of the season in our Serie A betting tips.

At the other end of the park, Victor Osimhen has been Napoli’s star man and he is 23/20 to find the net at any time.

Juventus vs Roma (Sun, 19:45)

The Old Lady have regrouped well following a disastrous start to the season and the 17/20 favourites for this clash have won their last four in all competitions.

Meanwhile, the Mourinho effect has been clear to see in Rome and they have won five of their seven league games.

Jose Mourinho, Roma, Serie A betting tips

A victory for the visitors is 29/10 with the draw a shade shorter in our Serie A betting tips at 27/10.

Juventus have won their last two 1-0 and it is 15/2 for that scoreline again while there were goals galore in two 3-2 wins before that and BTTS is 4/7, with over 4.5 at 7/2.

Roma have kept a clean sheet in three of their last four and that might have to land at 17/4 if they are to leave Turin with a positive result.

Empoli vs Atalanta (Sun, 14:00)

Atalanta have been Serie A’s entertainers in recent years and are 4/7 for victory away to Empoli, with the hosts 17/4 to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Roma.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side were hit with back-to-back games against their local rivals from Milan before the international break and this game could at least offers some respite.

Having struggled for goals in the opening weeks of the season, the visitors have scored two in each of their last three and it is 4/9 for Atalanta to continue that trend of two or more here.

Empoli, themselves, are not shy in finding the target so over 3.5 appeals at 6/5 in our Serie A betting tips.

For a #GetAPrice special, why not try over 3.5 goals in the match, Atalanta to win and both teams to score at 11/4.
