Footy punter turns £20 into £63k with monster Saturday acca

A Ladbrokes customer turned £20 into a whopping £63k this weekend in what will likely go down as one of the most impressive bets of the season.

The plucky punter placed a giant 10-fold on Saturday, covering games across the top four tiers of English football, and while the majority of selections came in with relative ease, the bet would've counted for nothing, had Notts County not have overturned a 1-0 deficit away at Swindon Town, with an 80th minute winner coming from EFL veteran and legend, David McGoldrick... his second of the game.

But aside from drama at the County Ground, the rest of the customer's picks came in much more comfortably; in fact, the 10 teams backed, conceded just THREE goals combined - with one of those being a 95th minute consolation from Southampton in their 3-1 defeat to Brentford.

And the fact the punter opted to activate their Odds Boost with Ladbrokes on the acca, resulted in an extra £14k being pocketed, meaning total returns - from a £20 stake - equalled a staggering £63,010.48.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "David McGoldrick's no stranger to EFL fans, and his brace away at Swindon turned out to be far more significant than maybe he first realised... without his goals on Saturday, we wouldn't now be looking at one of the most impressive acca wins we've seen in recent times."

"Regardless of who our punter supports, we're certain a David McGoldrick Notts County shirt will be high on their list of purchases over the coming days!"
