Grace Davies the early favourite to walk away with X Factor prize
Published:
This year’s X Factor may only be two shows old but already there’s a clear favourite in the betting market.
Grace Davies wowed the judges on Saturday night and has been installed as 9/2 favourite to win the competition.
The 20-year-old, from Blackburn, blew all four judges away with her own song.
Needless to say she stormed through to the next round.
Four-piece boyband Rak-Su lag some way behind as second favourites at 10/1.
They may have impressed the nation with an original song but their odds suggest they have some catching up to do to compete with Davies.
It’s a similar scenario for 15-year-old Holly Tandy.
She blew the judges away with her rendition of Alicia Keys’ ‘If I Ain’t Got You’.
Even so, her odds of 12/1 are some way behind our current market leader.
Elsewhere, Shanaya Atkinson-Jones is 14/1 while Anthony Russell is 16s.
YouTube stars Jack and Joe have managed to successfully transfer their act from the computer screen to the TV screen.
The quirky pair performed an interesting megamix of hit singles from singer Ed Sheeran.
It went down a storm with viewers and our traders make the duo 16/1 to win the final.
Looking slightly further afield and singing dinner lady Gaga Lord is a 100/1 to chance.
Meanwhile, Elisangela Mahogany, a Sinitta lookalike from Brazil, is the long-odds outsider at 150/1.
To put that into some context Lord Sugar is only 100/1 to be the next London Mayor.
