Harper to get a Top Gun godfather?

Tom Cruise is one of the front runners to be Harper Beckham’s godfather according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies make Cruise and family friend Ramsey the joint 4/1 favourites and the odds suggest it is between the top two with Elton John next at 14/1.

Former teammates Gary Neville (14/1), Paul Scholes (25/1) and Roy Keane (40/1) look less likely to be appointed leaving Cristiano Ronaldo the 66/1 outsider.

Tana Ramsey and Katie Holmes are the 3/1 joint favourites in the Godmother stakes. The Duchess of Cambridge is a 10/1 chance and Victoria’s former band mates seem to have similar chances to the footballers with all ex Spice Girls earning 25/1 quotes.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “On a star studded shortlist it’s looking odds-on they appoint an A-lister. The Ramsey double appears to have a great chance.”
