And following a year of royal-mania the firm expect record sums to be staked on one of the most popular novelty bets of all time with a blue hat the early 3/1 favourite.
It’s 4/1 she opts for a peach coloured hat, with pink (the choice at Epsom) a less likely 10/1 chance.
Those looking to back a hat colour at a big price can plump for grey and silver (both 33/1), gold (66/1) and black (100/1)
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The Queen’s hat is always the subject of a mass public gamble at Ascot. The Royal frenzy this year means we’re expecting more money to be staked than ever!
“Blue & peach are the early favourites. We can’t rule out yellow despite the wedding and pink might be bad luck!”
