Honey G favourite for X Factor boot – punter slaps £3K on her to go
Published:
Honey G’s X Factor journey looks set to come to an end this week, with traders making her the 4/6 favourite for elimination. That’s after a staggering 93 per cent of all bets taken on acts to leave the show this weekend have been placed on the rapper.
And it’s the first time since the live shows began that Honey G has headed into a Saturday night show as the favourite to leave.
One punter seems confident her time on X Factor will be over after ‘Louis Loves’ week, placing £3K on the hopeful to be sent packing on Sunday night, meaning the London-based high roller will pocket a cool £5K if Sharon Osbourne’s act is given her marching orders.
That would leave Matt Terry, 5 After Midnight, Emily Middlemas and Saara Alto to battle it out for the X Factor crown.
And as things stand, it’s Matt who’ll be receiving the £1m record deal this year.
He’s headed the market right from the offset, and is 1/2 to go all the way and win the competition, while 5 After Midnight are next in the market at 9/2.
Having been as short as 9/4 three weeks ago, Emily stands an 8/1 chance of becoming the second Girl in as many years to win the show, with Saara some way off at 10/1 and Honey G way back at 16s.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Honey G haters are out in force this week and they are certain her time on the X Factor is up. The public are convinced things are finally returning to normal, in the X Factor at least.”
