The latest Arc and 2000 Guineas market movers after the weekend

There were ante-post market movers aplenty this weekend following a huge weekend of racing across England, Ireland, France and Germany.
We’ve rounded up the key changes in the betting for both the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and the 2000 Guineas below.
Magical was the big mover in the betting for next month’s Arc after Aidan O’Brien’s ultra-consistent mare claimed the impressive scalp of Ghaiyyath in the Irish Champion Stakes.
Ghaiyyath was sent off as the 8/13 favourite at Leopardstown but Charlie Appleby’s raider couldn’t reel in Magical, who is now 12/1 from 20/1 for the Longchamp showpiece.
That moves the five-year-old ahead of Stradivarius in the market after the super stayer could only finish a narrow second to Anthony Van Dyck in the Prix Foy.
John Gosden’s three-time Ascot Gold Cup winner has been eased from 14/1 to 16/1 for the Arc as a result, while Anthony Van Dyck is now available at 25/1.
Fellow O’Brien hopeful Mogul has also been cut in to 16/1 after victory over 1m 4f in the Grand Prix de Paris on Sunday. Enable and Love remain unchanged at the top of the market.
Battleground may have missed the National Stakes with a persistent cough, but the War Front x Found colt remains solid at 7/1 for the 2021 2000 Guineas.
The market is changing around him, however, with the Jessica Harrington-trained Cadillac our new 8/1 joint-second-favourite after he motored home in the Group 2 Champions Juvenile Stakes.
Thunder Moon, who won the National Stakes in Battleground’s absence, is also available at 8/1 for the Newmarket classic ahead of impressive Champagne Stakes scorer Chindit at 12/1.
Lucky Vega and Master Of The Seas are now 16/1 apiece.
